How data syncing works

Where the numbers come from, how often they refresh, and what to check when something looks stale.

Adside syncs performance data from your connected ad platforms into its own reporting store. Dashboards, saved reports, routines and chat answers all read from the same synced data, so they always agree with each other.

The basics

  • Cadence: accounts sync daily. Pages show a "last synced" indicator so you know exactly how fresh the view is.

  • History: when you first connect an account, Adside backfills history so trends are useful from day one.

  • Scope: reporting depth is best on Meta today; Google Ads, LinkedIn and TikTok data are available to the agent when connected.

If numbers look off

  1. Check the last-synced time on the page; a sync may simply not have run since your change.

  2. Check Settings > Integrations: a disconnected or re-authenticated account is the most common cause of a gap.

  3. Remember attribution differences: Adside reports what the platform reports, so a number can shift for a few days after the fact as Meta settles conversions.

Still stuck? Email [email protected] with the client name and the dashboard, and we will look at the sync directly.
